Why TRIPpy : All my life I have asked – Why am I not passionate about anything in life? Why don’t I have a unique talent or an interesting hobby to boast about?
Eventually it dawned upon me that often we underestimate and undermine those little things we do in life – those so-called “hobbies” that we all love to do but in our minds they don’t qualify as “passion”. I have always loved planning – be it parties, events and especially trips! The whole process of conceptualizing an idea, chalking out a plan and finally executing it – gives me a rush like none other (Fun fact: I planned my own wedding & honeymoon – down to the smallest detail!) And finally, just the thought of visiting a new place gets my adrenaline pumping.
It took me almost 28 years to realize that this is not just a simple hobby of mine. THIS is what I am passionate about. Travelling across the globe and planning every single detail of these trips – to the tee!
Why Lens : A bridge camera was the very first thing I gifted myself when I started earning. I am a sucker for capturing moments & memories! Still an amateur but constantly working on honing my photography skills. Well, travelling and photography is a deadly combo, right?
Other not so important details – To earn the bucks (to do more and more trips!), I work as a Finance professional by the day. Have an Engineering and MBA degree. Based out of Bangalore (A city I love for its benign climate.Cliche’ I know!). A Foodie. A Chocoholic. Avid reader (Fiction, mostly). Always in Tripophobia (Yeah, that’s a thing!)
